R.I.P my little warrior!

It's so hard to continue to think about what's going on, but Joseph's memory must live on. I recently took my last photographs of Joseph and I will cherish them forever as they are some of the most personal and important photographs Carla and I have ever taken. I'll share a few with you. Thank you all for your prayers and support once again. I miss my little man, and I will not accept any reason why he is gone. Every moment we had with him was so precious. I have tears in my eyes as I post this.

RIP Joseph. We will always miss and love you. Please send prayers and love out to all the other families that are going through hard times with CDH and other sicknesses occurring in children around the world. We all need it.

-Sky

P.S. I can tell you that Joseph was here to teach many of us a lesson on live and to thank god for what we do have and sometimes take as granted.

Sky & Carla - I am so sorry for your loss. I have been following your blog, and I am so very, very saddened to read of this. I know that words are of no avail, as I too am the parent of an angel (www.missingalexis.org) but I pray that God will send you the peace and comfort to guide you on this journey of grief. May you feel the presence of your precious Joseph near you today and always.

"See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guide you along the way and bring you to the place that I have prepared." Exodus 23:20

Sending you and your family love and peace,

Lisa

Your photo's are beautiful. He knows how much you loved him. Allowing him to let go is the greatest love of all. He is, and alway be a little warrior. Saying a prayer that you will all find peace in the coming weeks, even if we cannot make sense of it all.

there is no words that can describe the strengh you guys have to share each step of this hard journey.....
we feel your pain and your prayers are with you and your family !!!

Dear Mommy,

Before we said our first hello,
the time had already passed.
For when you held me in your arms,
I had gone to heaven to rest.

I felt angelic tears down my cheeks,
and I watched you as you weeped.
I wish I could of changed it all,
Your tears touched my soul so deep.

But mommy when you are sad,
Please be assured I know.
For death cannot take away your love,
it will only continue to grow.

Time and distance cannot erase,
a love and a bond so deep.
There is no bond that can compare,
and in your heart I'll keep.

When you are feeling far away,
and missing me so much.
Close your eyes and feel my wings,
their soft and gentle touch.

Or at night as you sleep,
I will join you in a dream.
You will see me standing close to you,
and we'll be lost within my wings.

So my dear Mommy,
as you go from day to day.
Find comfort in the knowledge,
I am never that far away.

You have been in my heart and prayers during your journey and continue to be during this very sad time. It is just not fair that these beautiful little babies are taken from us. Your pictures are beautiful and I am glad you have them to remember your little warrior. He will forever live in your hearts and has touched so many around the world in the short time he was here. I am sad that we share this bond, I am sure he is up there playing with my little Ryann now.
